our expertise
artifact collaborative
Artifact Collaborative is an exceptional, forward-thinking firm led by two visionary women who continually push the boundaries of what a modern family home can be. After documenting a few of their earlier projects, they brought me in to film their signature masterpiece, The Nest House. Working closely with their team and their marketing department, we crafted a luxurious brand video designed for their website, social media, and prospective client outreach.
They chose to collaborate with me because of my meticulous pre-production planning, attention to detail, and creative approach to both interviews and architectural cinematography. The final film showcases not only the craftsmanship of the home but also the ethos of the studio—resulting in a powerful marketing tool that elevates their brand and resonates with their ideal clients.
Upside foods, emeryville, california
Upside Foods is shaping the future of food in America, and I had the privilege of documenting that transformation from the ground up. What began as a large, empty food hall evolved into a cutting-edge hub of scientific innovation, built by a team solving complex problems in real time. Watching them navigate each challenge was a testament to their expertise, collaboration, and vision.
From day one, we installed time-lapse cameras to capture the full construction journey — every framing adjustment, every system installation, every milestone moment. I was brought in on key days, including the massive tank installation, to photograph and film the work as it unfolded. We also built an interview-style setup so the Upside Foods team could share the story behind the project, both internally and with the world.
This project represents the heart of my commercial and construction work: long-form storytelling, detailed progress documentation, and polished marketing visuals that reveal not just what was built, but the innovation, craftsmanship, and people behind it.
Buena vista house, oliver builders
Oliver Builders took on the challenge of creating a stunning custom home in the Berkeley Hills, a location known for its steep terrain, complex engineering requirements, and sweeping architectural ambition. They not only handled the demands of building a luxury home from the ground up, they did it while navigating the complications that came when COVID hit right as the project began.
They invited me to document the story behind the build, from cinematic footage of the finished home to thoughtful interviews with the architect and the homeowners. The final videos became far more than polished marketing content. They captured the craftsmanship, collaboration, and problem solving that set Oliver Builders apart in the world of high end construction and Bay Area luxury homes.
Billion to One, palo alto, california
In under twelve months, this medical building was transformed from an empty shell into a fully realized, state-of-the-art space. The entire structure was taken down to nothing and rebuilt frame by frame, guided by a large team of builders, designers, and trades who worked seamlessly together.
Projects like this showcase what I love about construction and commercial work, the choreography of dozens of skilled people executing with precision, the constant evolution of a space, and the pride that comes from capturing each stage as it comes to life. This build was a true success, and documenting the process was an amazing.
Experience research lab & linkedin, mountain view
It was a dream to collaborate with LinkedIn and Experience Research Lab on this incredible commercial design project. Experience Research Lab was brought in to completely reimagine the atmosphere of LinkedIn’s main offices in Mountain View, California. Through a curated art and mural program, they transformed a standard corporate environment into a vibrant, modern workspace that feels both inspiring and inviting.
I documented the entire creative process as it unfolded. From the development of the murals to the installation of each artwork, I captured the craftsmanship, detail, and design intent behind every piece. The final result was a dynamic commercial video paired with editorial-style photography that Experience Research Lab now uses as a powerful marketing tool to attract new clients and strengthen their brand presence. This project beautifully showcases how high-end commercial video production and architectural photography can elevate a designer’s portfolio.
Pure storage & Dome Construction palo alto
The Pure Storage project was one of my longest and most rewarding commercial assignments, spanning more than 18 months on site. The renovation unfolded in two phases, transforming several floors in one building before moving to the next. The result was a beautifully designed interior featuring original artwork on each floor, a cohesive visual identity, and an elevated workplace experience throughout the entire campus.
Throughout the project I captured long-term construction timelapses, documented progress, and produced a commercial marketing video for Dome Construction. I also created a full suite of architectural and interior photography for both Pure Storage and Dome. The final collection highlights the craftsmanship, design vision, and complexity of this large-scale Bay Area commercial project.
studio j architecture, russian river, california
As a Sonoma County local, being asked to film this beautifully redesigned Guerneville home along the Russian River was an exciting opportunity. Studio J Architecture brought me in to capture a testimonial and cinematic showcase of their work. The property was fully reimagined while still respecting the existing structural and permit limitations, resulting in a refined, modern design that elevates the original home into something extraordinary.
To tell the full story, I interviewed the homeowner about the family’s goals for the renovation and the experience of working with Studio J Architecture. Her insights underscored the firm’s creativity, problem-solving, and the overall success of the project. The final video combines luxury architectural videography with heartfelt storytelling, creating a compelling marketing asset for the studio.
airprotein & dome construction, oakland
This project is a perfect example of what a long-term timelapse can reveal over the full duration of a commercial build. I was brought in at the foundation demo stage, where I set up two dedicated cameras and captured additional action footage on site. Those cameras documented the entire exterior construction process from the ground up. Once the structure was enclosed, we moved the system inside to follow the full interior buildout.
One of the major milestones was the installation of a prefabricated lab module—a precision operation with only inches of clearance to maneuver it into the building. Capturing that moment was essential to showing both the complexity of the project and the skill of the teams involved.
When construction wrapped, I returned to film the finished space and produce a high-impact marketing video. The final film became a valuable asset for Dome Construction to showcase their capabilities to future clients, and for Air Protein to share internally with their shareholders and investors.
simpleengi, leimert project
The Leimert Project is truly one of a kind, and SimpleEngi’s structural engineering expertise was a major force behind its success. Let’s be honest—a 50-foot fully sliding door system that opens to one of the most breathtaking views in the San Francisco Bay Area deserves to be showcased. I was brought in from the very beginning, documenting the entire transformation as the original house came down and a modern architectural masterpiece took its place.
From foundation work to final finishes, I captured the construction progress, the aerial footage, the craftsmanship, and the innovative engineering that made this home extraordinary. The final product included a cinematic marketing video and editorial-style photography that highlighted the design, the engineering, and the luxury lifestyle this property represents. It’s a project that reflects the power of thoughtful collaboration between architects, engineers, builders, and visual storytelling.
Experience research lab & wild type, san francisco
My first project with Experience Research Lab (ERL) was nothing short of inspiring. They were hired to design and build the commercial space for Wildtype, a company redefining the future of food with lab-grown salmon that looks, tastes, and is real salmon—without ever casting a line. ERL took that groundbreaking mission and translated it into a stunning office and commercial environment that blends innovation with artistry.
One of the most unique features was a custom lighting installation connected to live data from San Francisco Bay buoys, shifting in real time with the movement and intensity of the waves. It created an immersive atmosphere that tied the brand back to its origins. I documented this entire transformation—capturing the design details, installations, and final space—through commercial photography and cinematic video. The final visuals became a powerful marketing asset highlighting ERL’s creativity and Wildtype’s visionary work.
