Timeless residential, architecture, and commercial filmmaking and photography
I produce marketing visuals for spaces and places, shaped by a unique and distinct aesthetic I’ve honed through experience. Let’s work together and create beautiful images.
Clients are saying
As a leading real estate team in San Francisco, we quickly learned that Jeffrey Frisk would be our ‘go-to guy’ for all of our photography and videography related needs. He is supremely talented and quite simply the best in the business. He has a creative eye that showcases any property in its absolute best light. The first time he shared a video he created for one of our high-end luxury listings, we were absolutely blown away by the skill, detail, and care he put into it. It’s clear that he prioritizes quality in a business where many prioritize quantity. As if this weren’t enough, he’s also a joy to work with and an absolute pleasure to be around!
J. Frisk Film & Photo has been one of the best partnerships that we are thankful to have. We were always fascinated by his creativity and the true quality of his work. We frequently wondered how he was able to turn around great products every time. We attribute it to his ability to listen carefully and closely and his overall patience through every project we have worked with him on. Every time we need him, he is there. We are truly blessed to have someone that we can always count on.
We have been working with J. Frisk Film & Photo for six years. His work is consistently top-quality and creative. As his offerings have expanded from videography to include photography we have been thrilled with all of the projects on which we have collaborated. J. Frisk Film & Photo is a go-to provider for our finest listing collateral.
Jeffrey has an innate sense of what will draw the viewer’s attention. There are a lot of people that take videos, but very few videographers that have mastered the art of telling the story of the home, its surroundings and the lifestyle it offers like Jeffrey does. His video quality is unmatched. He also provides beautiful still photos that leave a lasting impression. I give Jeffrey my highest recommendation!
Talented. Creative. Brilliant. These are some of the words that come to mind when I think of Jeffrey and his work. The videos he creates for my listings are on a level of its own. They are absolutely stunning. Jeffrey has the ability to draw you in and take you on a journey with his story telling. He has such an incredible eye in capturing all the right shots and putting them together to make every video pure luxury.
Professional Workflow
Planning
Creative planning
I don’t just show up film & photograph a space. It starts with a conversation on goals and creative views that will lead to a final delivery. Every shoot starts with a plan to command attention and produce results. Great marketing doesn’t just happen; it comes from intention, structure, and smart execution.
Before we even step foot on the property, I partner with agents, architects and developers to align on the property’s narrative: who we’re speaking to, what we want them to feel, and how we make it align with their brand. We refine the mood, style, and visual pacing so the final film and photos reflect not only the architecture, but the story, emotion, and intention behind it. Site visits are preferred for most spaces, se we can prep expected images ahead of time.

Shoot Day
With the creative direction locked in, it’s time to bring the vision to life on shoot day. On site, I film and photograph with intention, capturing the property at its best moments throughout the day. For Luxury Films, I often arrive before sunrise and stay through sunset, documenting how the space transforms with natural light. I follow a meticulous workflow designed to highlight composition, movement, and the architectural details that make the space unique. For photography I am using the most interesting natural light and enhancing this with artificial light to create more contrast and a more refined look. This is where preparation merges with creativity and instinct, allowing my style to guide how the story unfolds. I capture a mix of cinematic motion and refined stills, collecting the images needed to tell a complete and compelling story of the property.
Post
Coming together
Marketing has been produced on side, now the real storytelling begins in post-production. I sort through every frame, choosing the shots that reinforce the narrative we defined together and assemble them into a cohesive visual story. Wide cinematic edits are paired with vertical social-ready cuts, ensuring the content performs on every platform. Photos are carefully retouched to preserve true color, depth, and the feeling of the space. The final deliverables are a complete set of polished marketing assets that elevate your listing and strengthen your portfolio, ready for MLS, social media, websites, and presentations.
Our Services
Film
Lets make a film. I approach each space with a signature style, capturing the interplay of natural light, striking compositions, and intricate details. From golden hour to twilight, every frame is designed to showcase the full story and character of the space. With state-of-the-art equipment and a creative vision rooted in both artistry and strategy, I create marketing films that stand the test of time and elevate your portfolio for years to come.
Photography
Every photograph begins with intention. I work with clients to understand their vision and the purpose of the images, then approach the space with an editorial eye. Careful compositions, attention to detail, and a thoughtful blend of natural and artificial light allow me to capture the full personality and character of the property. The final images are both visually striking and strategically crafted to meet your marketing and portfolio needs.
Commercial Timelapse’s
Working on commercial properties requires both strategy and foresight. I begin by studying floor plans, renders, and the overall layout to determine the optimal placement of cameras, ensuring every key area and angle is captured. For long-term projects, I provide the ability to have cameras on site for extended periods—sometimes a year or more—documenting the entire process from demolition through to the finished build.
This approach allows me to tell the full story of a project, capturing every stage of construction, transformation, and design execution. Each timelapse is combined with on-site footage of key moments, such as crane picks, concrete pours, or framing, and edited together to create a single, powerful marketing piece. This provides a valuable product for stakeholders, clients, and teams, allowing them to see the project from start to finish. The result is a comprehensive, visually striking record of the property that serves as both an operational tool and a marketing asset.
frequently asked question
Which areas do you work in?
I create Luxury Real Estate Video and Editorial Photography for the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. I have clients everywhere, ranging Sonoma, Napa, Danville, Atherton, Oakland and San Francisco. I am open to traveling any part of the West Coast, USA or abroad for the right project.
What makes your Real Estate Videos Different?
I have filmed 1000’s of standard real estate videos over the years and decided that instead of making as many real estate videos as I could, I wanted to make Mini Home Documentary Films. Make them beautiful, make them professional, and make them the best they can be.
My Luxury Real Estate Videos take time, organization, planning and creativity. I show up early, and I leave late. That means I am filming beautiful light throughout the entire home. Being on site all day allows me to get stunning time-lapse work showing the way the light interacts with each property. A forgotten part of most homes are the sounds. I bring sound design into my videos. Pulling together sounds that are true to the nature around and inside the home, or actual sounds from the home. While others videographers may throw headphones in, I soak in the sound around me, listen to the the birds chirping, the creek flowing, and the wind in the pines. This matters. This brings a different element to each Luxury Real Estate Tour.
The special thing is, I edit all my own work. So you are not getting a generic edit from someone overseas. You are getting my personal view on what the property felt like while I was there, and I edit that into every Real Estate video and deliver it either next day or under 48 hours.
Do you only shoot Real Estate?
Absolutely not. I am blessed to live in the San Francisco Bay Area and work with some of the best real estate agents in my area, and that allows me to film Luxury Real Estate Property Videos and shoot Editorial Photography consistently.
I also work with construction companies doing commercial photography and long term time-lapse videos to create beautiful and useful Commercial Marketing Videos. I work with Architects and Builders who want to create stunning Architectural marketing videos and get portfolio photography that showcase their projects they worked years on. I also work with interior designers who are ready to showcase their spaces in both videos and photo mediums.
I love to work on all these projects and I have the skills, creativity and tools to produce incredible marketing content for your project that will last a lifetime.
How far out do I need to schedule you?
This is tough. I am lucky that I edit all my own Marketing Videos and Editorial Photography, and have a quick turnaround time. So that means I am able to fill my calendar pretty tight, especially during those busy times. But generally my calendar breaks down into 2 different parts of the year :
Spring / Fall : If you are looking for a specific date of a shoot during the spring or fall, reaching out 4-6 weeks before that shoot day is best. If you are flexible than 3/4 weeks should be good, but earlier the better
Summer / Winter : If looking for a specific date then 3/4 weeks is a good amount of time. If you are flexible I can usually find time for a project within a week or two.
What are these Long Term Construction Timelapses?
Wow, these are so fun to make. I love working on construction projects and creating marketing videos and photography.
First, long term construction time-lapses are when we set up several cameras on a job site and collect time-lapse footage from anywhere from 2 months to 2 years. We take those time-lapses, mix them with action footage from throughout the time of the project and make a marketing video for you to share on your website or in your sales pitches to potential clients.
We start at Pre-Construction or just before demo. I work with the construction company going over site plans and floor plans to see where we will get the best footage for these time-lapses. This being a job site, sometimes those cameras will have to move, but sometimes they don’t and you get 1 full clip of your project coming together from the ground up.
We get regular clips of major milestones throughout the project, like aerial drone footage, concrete pours, and complicated equipment installations and put it all together into one awesome video. Then turn it into many small vertical videos for your social.
If you are not doing time-lapses and marketing videos and photos as a construction company, then its time to start.
Why do you shoot Editorial Photography?
Having photographed real estate photography for 1000’s of homes, I felt it was time to stand out and create images that stood the test of time. I pivoted my photography, along with my video work, into the Luxury Real Estate and Commercial Architecture and Design space.
That means I need to create images that would not only work for that moment, but would be beautiful, thoughtfully composed, and creative that could work in each clients portfolio forever.
It starts before we even take a single photo. I connect with my clients about what they are looking for and how they are going to use these photos. Then, if needed, we set up a time to do a site visit to prepare a shot list and be able to plan out our day on site.
When shooting, I shoot tethered to a laptop and/or an iPad so clients to watch whats happening in real time. I may shoot all natural light, or I may use flash to help accentuate light that is already there, or create light if we have a cloudy day. With any conditions, shooting editorial style, we are able to make images that will be an evergreen portfolio product for you.
When editing, each image is thoughtfully crafted. We are not making 100 lifeless real estate photos. We are creating a stunning and thoughtful image for you to put in front of your more refined clients who will ultimately purchase the home you have, or use your for their next home build.
